About the Test: Body composition measures the percentage of your body that is made up of fat and and non-fat tissue (muscle, bone, blood). We use state of the art BOD POD air displacement technology to estimate body composition.
What to expect: You will need to arrive in compression clothing in order for the test to be accurate. We will weigh you on a scale and then place you in the Bod Pod. The test takes 10 minutes to complete. You will then receive a report and interpretation of your values which includes body mass index, percent body fat, percent lean mass, and estimated energy expenditure. The range of error for this test is ± 1 to 2.7%.
