Water bottle

There are many practical ways to start increasing your water intake, some of which include:

  • Replacing sugary beverages with water - Swapping soda or other sugary beverages for water can increase your water consumption while decreasing the consumption of excess sugar, calories, and preservatives often found in soda.
  • Carrying a reusable water bottle - Having constant access to drinking water will allow you to quench your thirst whenever you start to feel symptoms of dehydration.
  • Drinking water at meals times - This will help you feel full and help you consume a healthy number of calories.
  • Drinking water before, during, and after physical activity - This will increase hydration levels and can aid your physical performance.

If access to clean water is a concern of yours, consider purchasing a water filter for your kitchen faucet or a filtered water bottle or pitcher. This will ensure that you will always have access to clean drinking water that you can drink whenever you start to feel dehydrated.
