  • Medications - Some medications require you to consume more water. These include laxatives, oral diabetes medications, diuretics, and chemotherapy medications. 
  • Age - Older adults may require more water to help regulate bodily functions. 
  • Climate - Hot and/or humid climates will require you to rehydrate more frequently than cooler climates.
